Clarification: Probably because of this paragraph, sometimes I get an e-mail whether one can cite the site. The answer is always the same: yes, you can, I am glad that you find the content useful and that you want to cite it. What I really don't like is if someone just takes the text of a whole tutorial, including images, and copies it without any change to other site and doesn't mention the origin of the text, and even claims that it is his original work (yes, it did happen, and it didn't happen only once). On the other hand, I did give permissions to publish a copy of a whole tutorial, even including applets etc. - for example on a university intranet when my site was inaccessible from some place, on a CD accompanying an event etc. - it always had a reason, and they did ask before doing that.
